The Environmental Fund, led by the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning, in cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) hosted the event, "The Environmental Fund Symposium 2023: Thai Climate Initiative (ThaiCI) Fund Kick-Off," to introduce ThaiCI Fund which is a new climate finance mechanism to enhance climate action implementation of small-scale actors in Thailand.

The Laotian Environmental Protection Fund (EPF) has agreed to provide more than US$2 million (Bt70 million) in support of environmental-protection activities in three faculties of the National University of Laos (NUOL).
